ACEO - Say Whaaat? by Bloodhound Omega

A really tiny and little and early birthday present for my honey-buns, Wylde.

This is one of a set of four ideas I had circling around the joker and the Rottweilers, even if they appeared in combination for a rather short time. And no, I didn't try to avoid Joker's head. *g* It's just that three of the pictures are supposed to focus more on the dogs than the guy.

Let's see how long it will take me to get the the other three done. Xp

Anyway... I love yous much, baby, and I hope I could sweaten up your day a bit with this one... *sends much love overseas* <3

P.S. In case it's not visible enough... one of the dog's brows is being pushed down, while the other one is lifted. Like that o_Ô

The Hippodile's New... Jewelry ^^ by Bloodhound Omega

The second sketch commission for Sodalite from FA and boy were those two fun! :D Not only were they body types I am seldomly asked to draw, the species were also a total blast! I particularly enjoyed Tamasa, the anthro Deinotherium lady.

The Hippodile and Tamasa are property of Sodalite.

Marked mature for partial nudity. ^^

Medium: Pencilsketch
Tags: crocodile elephant jewelry hippo sodalite hippodile tamasa deinotherium
ACEO - Sean Connery as Captain Marko Ramius by Bloodhound Omega

Once a year I seem to manage creating a piece of human related art I am actually proud of... and for this year I think this is it. O_o

This card is for Nelena as a thank you... She wanted a portrait of Sean Connery as the Russian submarine Captain Ramius from "Hunt for Red October", a movie I love, too. For this portrait I used a new strategy (new as in, I didn't apply it before): I used a grid on the reference photos and transferred it on the card. This kind of procedure is not new, but I never used it. It's timeconsuming and tiresome as hell... but I think it was worth the while...

In that sense... thanks, Nel, for teaching me to enjoy singing and dancing again, for sharing the adoration for the same hot stuff with me, for helping me out whenever I need it and... all the rest. <3

Medium: Polychromos, Gel Pen for Highlights
Tags: red russian for Captain hunt Scott october nelena sean connery marko ramius
A Dream of Gold and Jade by Bloodhound Omega

The second commission for Azazel and also the last one on my list of regular commissions. It's a bit smaller than my normal format, but I am glad it wasn't any bigger, as the background simply drove me nuts. I had to ask my friend Blue_Panther for perspective help with the Torii gate so it's thanks to him it looks decent now (and yes, I know Toriis usually don't have loops on top.).

I am both... happy it's done and more or less pleased with the outcome. I am just sorry it took me so long to finish the later commissions.

Medium: Colour Pencils
Tags: unicorn chinese Japanese garden rock kirin Gate bamboo torii
My submission for the upcomming PinUp Portfolio --> http://pinupportfolio.com/

It's a rather unusual interpretation of Bastet, I guess, but I wanted to add a cat's playfulness next to its natural grace. :D

Oh, and what would old Anubis say that of all things a cat is stretching out like that on this image of him? ;)

The Cutie Pie's CharacterSheet by Bloodhound Omega

I have been working on this since end of last year. The sketches were rather demaning, although they don't look like it, because I had to keep some things in mind, that are not visible from the outside.

Anyhow. This is a Bloodhound character for my friend somewolf and no, her name's not Cutie Pie, but she has no name yet. We have plans for her, so expect to stumble over her again in the future. :)

Felt good to do some Bloodhound art again. There's far too little comming from my direction nowadays. ;__;

Medium: Colour Pencils, Photoshop 7
Tags: sheet character fantasy alpha omega omega bloodhound bloodhound Beta BHO ileyeah bloodhounds somewolf theta irgendeinwolf

Felt good to do some Bloodhound art again. There's far too little comming from my direction nowadays. ;__;

Niyoh's Character Sheet by Bloodhound Omega

Finally the finished commission for Kiwiburd on DA, who wanted a reference sheet of her character Niyoh. I am sorry this took longer than expected. >.<

If I recall correctly this is actually the first reference sheet I ever finished. There is another one in the making, but it had to be put on hold for now.

Should I be concerned that I finish other people's character sheets before my own? XD Wrarrrr! I need to finish those studies and get a freaking job! Just in case I didn't mention that yet. ^^

Btw. I think Niyoh looks as if she would taste like anise.
Man, I sure do hope the colours are looking alright now. I am a bit worried after I realized that there is a rather big difference in the way my laptop and my computer display stuff. o.o

Anyhow. This is Alyska, a little wolfess I adopted from MeanCheen over on DA, who had to give a whole bunch of her wolf characters away. I figured, besides the fact that I think her markings/ colours are pretty, that she might be good for anatomical and structure practise. ;D Just a little thing, wanted to try out coloured paper again. <3

Medium: Colour Pencils
Tags: wolf wolf fur female wolfess femwolf alyska trott
She's ancient, ugly and a few teeth short, but she still can turn you into a piece of her little collection if you cross her. ;D

----------------------------------------------

Another piece for MMC art show and if this one's get sold it will probably hurt parting from it. The light is probably all messed up, but I don't care much as it was fun and looks neat enough. :3 Original looks slightly less "flat" than the scan, especially the skull pile.

Btw. I hid three more or less known skulls in that pile. First one to find all three will get a free cookie. XD

ACEO - Golden Tabby Tiger by Bloodhound Omega

y part of an ACEO trade with somebody. Wanted to draw a Golden Tabby Tiger since a while now and this offered me a chance to do so. I thought it would give the piece a nice touch if I didn't simply draw a realistic piece of a tiger, but added something ... uh... abstract to it. So I added the tribals and swirlies and ornaments.

Naschkatzen by Bloodhound Omega

And here goes the second bookmark. :D

I must say, I think about accepting commissions for little things in that style in the future as I experienced a great deal of joy and delight when painting these pieces. *gg*

Yay for little doodles and water colours, man!

Almost cut off the little black-and-white kittens foot in my enthusiasm. Meaning the original, not the scan. Buuuut I just managed not to do it. ^^;;;

Blah. Not really awake yet. These will also be available at MMC art show.

Drip Drop Drizzle by Bloodhound Omega

One of two bookmark designs I did for Nelena to help her out with something. She needed the lineart only though and as I was allowed to sell the originals I thought I might as well finish those and bring them along to MMC. ^^ Don't be surprised to see the motive double in the future then.

I experimented a bit with this one, trying to apply the inking and colouring style of Anita Jeram (Guess how much I love you) to the piece. I didn't manage to get the full breadth of the watercolour's effects banned on paper, but I blame this mainly on using too cheap paper for this. Lesson learned. *g*

Medium: Ink, Water Colours, Gelpen
Tags: fox cute rain omega bookmark book foxy bloodhound BHO shelter nelena fops drizzle anita jeram
Out of the forefathers' shadow by Bloodhound Omega

One of two commissions for Azazel. :)

My fingers, wrist and elbow moan and cry, but I think the effort was worth it. *g* I wanted to try something slightly more daring regarding light and depth with this piece and so I overcame my fear and asked for help in a new board. I think it shows and I am glad I asked. It's still far from being perfect, but except for two areas I am really pleased with how things turned out. Thanks so much for helping me out, guys!

And believe it or not... the bones on the ground were more annoying/ more work than all the dragon scales together. XD At least it felt that way.

Medium: Water Colours, Colour Pencils, Gelpen
Tags: dragon wing drache bones flight draco boneyard azazel
Phenique II by Bloodhound Omega

Wow... somehow it seriously feels and looks as if there were more than just six months between this commission for Fluffyfennec and the first one I made for him: --> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1542861/

I used a good deal of direct and indirect references for this one, especially the inventory of the tent, but I think it was worth it/ shows. My little HAL seriously does help me lots when I am on the way. ^___^

Oh and... only three more commissions and I am done with the list! Hallelujah! ;_;

Medium: WaterColours, ColorPencils
Tags: fox fennec arabian oriental tent phenique fluffyfennec beduin
